If the humor wasn't below the belt before, it sure got there now.

Coloring this strip late at night when I should be sleeping, I made one of the city roofs in the second panel lime green, and then sat giggling like an idiot cause it was such a funny detail. Your guess is as good as mine.

The girl who's about to walk into the wall in the third panel is bare-chested apart from the basket straps. She was my first (and in hindsight rather modest) attempt to sneak in publicly topless females in Bernard's world; they'll turn up now and then in later strips.
