Being a noble hero is no easy living. You must face great perils, fearsome beasts, dark evils, and the occasional bastard who'll screw it all up for you.

This is the last strip from the batch that was drawn in 2001 (see About).  All strips up to this point spent a couple of years in a drawer until late 2003, when I showed them to the startup Fenix editors. I then just scanned and colored them before they were published.
