Last but not least… That's Thulsa Doom, Rexor and Thorgrim reprising a scene from Conan the Barbarian (1982). The problem here was that the joke didn't really stand on its own feet; it was a direct add-on to the ’BtB – the Untold Saga’ comic, which had only been published in Bernard's compilation book, so it wasn't all that usable in Fenix.

Someone pointed out that if we take this as canon, Bernard's mother is apparently not dead, just hypnotized. She's probably still sitting by a pond somewhere eating flies.
